Overview
We were tasked to create an explainer video for San Carlo, a well-known Italian chips brand, showcasing a contest they were hosting in partnership with the NBA. The contest offered participants the chance to win exciting prizes such as NBA gadgets and a trip to the USA.
Objective
Our goal was to clearly and engagingly communicate the contest details and participation rules to the target audience. The video needed to be both fun and informative, ensuring viewers were excited to participate.
Process
The process commenced with the scriptwriting, followed by the storyboard creation. We then recorded the voice-over with a professional artist and selected appropriate royalty-free music. Once these were in place, we designed the illustrations and animated them. The final stage was editing and delivering the final video.
Tools
Adobe Illustrator and After Effects were the primary tools used for creating and animating the illustrations. We collaborated with professional voice-over artists and sourced royalty-free music for the audio elements of the video.
